The Pomodoro Technique

The Pomodoro Technique is a popular technique that people use when they are studying. It is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s.

You turn off all your distractions such as notifications on your phone and computer and set the timer on 25 minutes. In these 25 minutes, you focus all of your energy and attention into studying your topics until the timer rings. When the timer rings you set it on 5 minutes and you are having a break and focusing on something else.

We can use The Pomodoro Technique to get better grades and learn more. The short intervals of studying, trains your brain to focus for short periods and helps you stay on top of deadlines or constantly-refilling inboxes. With time it can even help improve your attention span and concentration.
