In Marikana, South Africa, african miners went on strike in 2014. Many miners were injured by riot police during the strike, and some were even killed. All tho the risks of this strike, they fought for justice. The strike ended after five months when the miners were awarded an extra R1000 (about 55 English pounds) per month.
